Adapt A Vet Needs Volunteers

Adapt A Vet makes a significant difference in the lives of Qualified Veterans with challenges, needs, and abilities connected to their military service by providing home adaptations.

Remodeling and adapting homes is a realistic solution for many Veterans.

Adaptations based on the Veteran’s abilities and needs offers freedom from safety hazards, independence, and increased self-sufficiency.  Examples include removing carpet and replacing with flooring designed to help with wheelchair accessibility, lowering sinks or counters for easier access, widening doorways, or building access/exit ramps.

Community members have the skills, knowledge, and abilities to help Adapt A Vet get the work done. Giving Back connects all of us with our communities, builds social connections, and encourages all of us to be socially responsible to each other.
